When I Look Back At It, All I Remember Is Fear

As I have made a habit of exploring various traumas and negative feelings, I decided to explore feelings regarding a cult I had been in for nearly a decade.  The way I approach art has very much been affected by my time there, and it only felt right to explore that further in my art.  This piece is based off of a conversation I had with the leader of the cult, right as I was being kicked out of it.  I explored how much more I could push my normal format with the use of a background image, which I feel greatly benefited the piece.  I hope to mix screen printing and wood block printing to further explore this.
