Caught in a Memory

The first piece to begin my current exploration, and set up my aesthetic.  Done as a reduction block, this piece explores a particularly painful state I was in at the time.  I had recalled previously repressed memories and wanted to flee from them, denying it ever happened.  Despite all my denial and running away from it, I was still already hurt.  Caught up in this pain.  The rabbit tries desperately to run away, despite already being torn in two.  Captured by a hook in its ear.  Everything it does in in vain.  It is already over.
