Here you will find a collection of other works I did in college. These works are smaller or I'm less satisfied with them. I still feel they are important to include since they show how I developed my current style and started playing with it.

What If Its Too Hard?

8" x 10" Woodblock print - 2023

As university drew to a close, I feared failure. This drove many suicidal thoughts. Ultimately I passed, but I wanted to explore these feelings as they were still relevant.

Let's Play Jump Rope!

10" x 10" Screen print - 2023

I wanted to explore how my crayon drawings could be implemented into my works, so I focused on this for a screen print project.

Hanging Around

8" x 10" Screen Print - 2023

A screen print that focused on color. With this piece I explored how color could be implemented into my pieces. While I liked the composition, I feel the end result is disappointing. Simply just coloring in the characters does not add anything, in my opinion. I want to experiment more with color, but I need to find ways that add to the pieces instead of subtracts.

My Feelings Are Not Appropriate

N/A Mokulito print - 2023

In my intermediate print making course, we got to try an interesting form of printmaking in mokulito. Mokulito is a form of lithography that uses wood blocks instead of stone. The process was interesting, and I had a lot of fun with it. This piece explores my time in a cult. Various elements from Floraverse, the cult I was in, are implemented, including a rendition of a character who is an artist, which represents the leader of the cult here.

You Tricked Me

N/A Mokulito print - 2023

Another mokulito print exploring my experiences with the Floraverse cult.

Stitching Together A Broken Self

N/A Mokulito print - 2023

Another mokulito print, this time exploring the healing process. Healing from trauma is difficult and takes a long time. It is not a linear path, but a dance of constant back and forth movement. One must be kind to their self during this process, and accept that sometimes they will trip up or move backwards. That is okay, so long as you get back up and try again.

Commodity Shirt

N/A Silkscreen print - 2023

a project from my screen print class focused on making a t-shirt. I wear these often.

Suicide Pack

N/A Sticker Pack - 2023

For a final project in my screen printing class, we had to make a sticker pack complete with packaging. I decided to continue to explore my emotions with it and took symbols that were common in my works, and make those. The name comes from "suicide pacts" which are agreements between multiple people to commit suicide, usually at the same time.
