Yugo Limbo is a nonbinary artist who I've followed since college. I was initially interested in their work through tumblr, and found the aesthetic they had intriguing. I was very excited to see their video project "Ah, He's Sick" through its development. Back in 2022, Yugo published a comic, or graphic novel, titled "Be Kind, My Neighbor" and I ordered it as soon as I could. I've already read it back when I was in College still, but i've decided to re-read it, and give my thoughts on it as I go through it. And thus, here we are. Due to the length of the book, I felt it best to go chapter by chapter. So here's my thoughts on chapter one, "Like Neighbors Do!" Spoilers ahead.

This chapter does an excellent job at setting the story up in my opinion. We get introduced to the main characters, Wegg and Mr. Neighbor, the serial killings occurring in the town of Baths, as well as Baths itself. The aesthetic and vibe of the story is also excellently set up, not just through Yugo's incredible art, but by the town of Baths itself and the glimpses of it's residents.

Unlike many other stories involving a serial killer, we get introduced to the exact identity of the murder immediately, This does well to set up tension between the two main characters, as Mr. Neighbor is not only Wegg's love interest, but a murderer, and one interested in Wegg. This premise is immediately interesting and invites one to read further.
